Janine Duffy
Communications, Engagement and Admin Officer

Janine is Sustainability First’s Communications, Engagement and admin officer, responsible for developing and implementing the organisation’s communications strategy, as well as providing administrative support.

She graduated from The University of Edinburgh with a bachelor’s in Sustainable Development and is currently studying for an MSc in Environmental Governance at The University of Manchester.

During her bachelor’s degree her research interests centred around food systems, environmental justice and the political ecology of development.

Janine has spent the past several years working within the third sector across various roles in communications, grant management, fundraising and research, primarily for international non-governmental organisations.
